I have just finished my degree, infact my degree show is still open, yet I already feel, as an emerging artist, like one rain drop in a downpour.
This blog is to help me keep conected, give me a little structure and ultimately keep me focused.
I am moving house this weekend. The new place is tiny compared to my student pad and there is definitely no where to make any work… let alone store my degree stuff!
I am desperate to find studio space. who’d have thought Chichester would be so lacking in this area?
 BA Fine Art, University of Chichester 2010  www.anitababey-studio.co.uk My practice explores the nature of the human body, particularly the subtle moments the body expresses when the mind is relaxed; the mind may have an unawareness of how it projects the body to the world. I use photography to capture these rarely observed moments as they can be lost in an instant. I then work with these photographs trying to bring the subtle grace of these moments to the foreground through the dynamic use of a wide range of liquid medium.
