Saw an older couple with a young male in a wheel chair, all limbs wrapped up tight in a post trauma tightness and unmoving. They had their lunch and I watch them wondering about their story and remembering when I was in the the same sort of position all that time ago…
When they wheel him away our eyes met and he gave me a big smile, and I waved to him.
