This piece of art-work is about Egypt. I am trying to express my feelings about my country. Egypt is ruled by a fascist dictator and there is no democracy in my country. People are divided and many are very unhappy about our ruler, myself included. However there are also many people in support of him. I used an Egyptian newspaper as well as threads with different colours, using red and green, the colours of Egyptian flag itself in my jigsaw piece. The jigsaw symbolises the different aspects and opinions of people and the fact that there is something missing. As it is easy to loose a piece of a jigsaw puzzle.
