Caroline Fisher gave a good talk last night – concise, clear, focussed and full of interesting information about the curatorial process within the High Society show at the Wellcome Collection. I think audience members also found it fascinating to hear about the early stages of creating and shaping Caroline’s next show with the Wellcome. Feedback was a big thumbs-up.
We had a full house and lots of people stayed behind networking or simply chatting. We operated a simple donation system for the audience this time, which semed to work alright. Even so, I cannot see how we will be able to afford half-decent lights in the foreseeable future. Or much else for that matter.

Caroline Fisher will be discussing her curatorial projects at The Wellcome Trust tonight. I think Stephanie is in the space as we speak turning the heaters on. Meanwhile, I nipped along to the man in the Computer /Mac shop in the town square to sort out leads foor the projector this evening. So very useful to have that as a resource – it took 20 minutes maximum. Brillant. And sorry, it has to be another coffee related picture today.
There is a bit of information about caroline on our new but still elusive website:
A lot of sweat over building the Project Space website. It wasn’t the actually making of the pages, as I have kept them very simple and just needed to put time in to remembering how to use Dreamweaver. It was the actual getting the thing live. Although I’ve done this before, I couldn’t remember the process and I still don’t understand the language. What do all those words mean?
Anyway, the site is up now, but almost invisible when searched for. Typically, this blog, however, is easy to find on a search.
I had a LOT of coffee to get through the process. This much ….
