Caroline Wright is in artist’s conversation with Cheryl Pierce at The Project Space this Wednesday at 7pm. We’re excited to have this chance to hear about the numerous projects Caroline is working on, particularly those with rural Norfolk and East Anglian connections, as these are truly fitting of our grassy-space ethos. More Caroline details here:

Paint Club East
We heard about this at Judith Stewart’s residency talk with painter Barbara Howey. I’m very far from being a painter, but Chloe Mandy, Queenie number three, is a dedicated oil, canvas and brushes person. We’re wondering if the paint club in some form might be of interest to our audience and will discuss this further with those people knowledgeable about paint. Anything that generates some critical debate should be useful.
and, Aargh by the way, the studio sink is blocked again.

An impromptu Project Space meeting with Stephanie to catch up on events whilst I have been away. By all accounts a busy time with Debby Besford’s photography show and events. The photographs provide intense points of vibrant colour in our sparse white and grey space; they look splendid. The only other colour in the room is this beautiful bunch of roses.
We are still firming up exact dates for the talks, residency, workshop and show coming up over the next few months. A finicky process. This also means more updating of the website and trying to get images and credits off people, finicky too. I’d better make a start….

Debby Besford’s show ‘The Boudoir of the Burlesque Performer’ is about to close after a hectic closing day – it was featured on the HotShoe blog, and there has been a record number of visitors, both friends and artists.
