The plan is to create individual stations so they can eventually be connected via the strings which will make them all correspond to one another. Having individual stations also makes the art easier to manage and move if needed. The only difficulty is in getting them all to connect as they wont be all lined up linearly as was my previous work.

I happened to come across the Artist Jonty Hurwitz who is uses science to create the worlds smallest sculpture. This really appealed to me.
Tinguely and Michael Landy both included oddities into their works such as skulls, umbrellas etc and i thought after breaking this mug i would put it back together and use it as well.
I have always admired the way Da Vinci used scientific methods to overcome problems and while doing so created a variety of artworks.
Da Vinci did drawings that represented a function and also represented an idea. I brought forward his ideas into my own work. Though Da Vinci never created his works they only remained as ideas.

My sculptural work began with me in my younger years where i used to finish my school lunch and used the end products where i used to try and put them together in some fashion to create something.
This interest has grown and i found myself using recycled materials to make something out of nothing. From there i am taking my work to a new level. The work i am currently doing has reverted back to being formless and more about function.
I am using materials and giving them a different role than what they are intended for.
