I began at Cardiff Metropolitan University a few weeks ago by asking artist and illustrator Anna Bhushan many many questions over the deafening hum of the ceramics party several floors below.
Then a couple of days before I left for Toronto I went to see ceramicist Claire Curneen. So far in Toronto I have visited Shary Boyle, Sharon Switzer, Bill Burns and Ed Pien.
So much fantastic material already gathered… I shall unravel the ideas and write about them when time allows, I have a feeling this won’t be until I get home… but that would be wrong and bad!
