I am at the point of being very close to finishing my dissertation. It has been a long but exciting journey, and theory has really inspired my practical work as well as my writing.
I am researching on our proximity with dust and the discarded. I am extremely fascinated by relationships with waste, and how this can be transformed into the poetic realm. It is a subject I am investigating within my practice too, which is tying everything together nicely.
I feel like everything is coming together, and since I am in final year, this is comforting. I finally know where I am in contemporary art practice, and it has helped me identify with the issues and work I am exploring.
