At the end of yesterday we got the labels to title our work. I felt the titles really helped to finish everything off and look more professional. I had the dates of all my boards printed too so they didn’t look untidy written on. This worked much better having the date stuck to the bottom right of each one. This then gives each board its own title as a date and then the 30 together as a whole piece. I stuck the full title for the whole piece to the middle right of the boards as this was the most suitable place for it.
I had a bit of a play around with my folders again. I wasn’t sure if they were working lied flat. The front open one was okay but the back ones were hidden and I didn’t want the viewer to miss them. Therefore I decided to stand the back two up. I had labels printed for the folders which matched the ones on the wall with my name and title on so the viewer would know which one was which. I feel a lot happier with them laid out on the plinths like this as it is a lot aesthetically pleasing and inviting to look at it. The plinth definitely works a lot better than the shelf as it’s easier for the viewer to browse through at their leisure I feel.
