The Birth of Consumer-Bot
Using my initial design of the inner structure of the robot, I was able to sketch a wooden structure based on the measurements of me, for a scale I could work with.
Once I had these measurements I started to cut some timber to size, which I got from my dads shed of unused off-cuts.
I used a square piece of chipboard painted white, which would be the base of the robot, and this would give me something to build and fix the skeleton too.
So I started to assemble the inner structure based on my measurements, I felt that it would be easier to scale the robot if I based the measurements on my leg height, waist height, shoulders and so on…..
