The next step of the process was to start fixing cardboard to the wooden frame. All the cardboard packaging I used, I got from the student shop.
I wanted this sculpture to be made entirely from recycled materials, so it was important that I used packaging that would have been thrown away.
As I applied the packaging to the structure, I had to think about what pieces would fit where, as I didn’t want to cut up the boxes unless I had to. Whilst I was doing this, I used masking tape to hold each piece together.
