I have also looked at Ryan Gander this piece he did really inspired me to think of my own practice and maybe push my own boundaries more.

been thinking about new work as well spring boarding of this degree show and maybe approaching hospitals to show case some of my work.
Addenbrooks Hospital may be a good place to start as l am already an exciting patient there.
felt l needed to add this as it may exsplain some of who l am and why l am the pearson l am today and would to remain this way.
Final push for Degree Show and we are all working hard to make it a good one, l had four days of hard slog and my poor stump is sore from so much walking around.

took some photos of my space to give me a feel of how it will look, need to keep it clean and minimalist so have decided to have just one chair for leg on as its to represent me siting down put leg on.
when l watch this film l feel my eyes well up not sure why, its very close to home l think.
gives me time to put together some more images and get my sketch books up to date, found some more writing l did a while ago on some other idea for work l may do. would also like to try my hand at illustration work but may need some help finding who to speak to and who not to.
Its been really good to look back over the blog and reflect on my progress, was asked to show my piece My Fallen Hero which l did in first year so here it is.
It was to be projected onto a wall under the stairs in corridor in the space l wanted to show this years degree show.
projector is under the chair given the impression l am sat talking to my dad who l have had a fallen out with which l find very sad.
Been reflecting on previous sketch books and realise my degree show is a refined project for my first idea of chairs, had thought about putting 3 chairs together representing me at different ages, the films would have me age 8,teenage and me in the present time.
Although l have changed the concept to a new personal level l feel l would like to try this out and see how it works.
after all l intend to keep on making work after Uni finishes even when on the dole l should still feel creative (I hope).
My practice is lens based with elements of Installations.Have been working with the body creating links with items l have created with my hands for others bodies.
