Its been really good to look back over the blog and reflect on my progress, was asked to show my piece My Fallen Hero which l did in first year so here it is.
It was to be projected onto a wall under the stairs in corridor in the space l wanted to show this years degree show.
projector is under the chair given the impression l am sat talking to my dad who l have had a fallen out with which l find very sad.
Been reflecting on previous sketch books and realise my degree show is a refined project for my first idea of chairs, had thought about putting 3 chairs together representing me at different ages, the films would have me age 8,teenage and me in the present time.
Although l have changed the concept to a new personal level l feel l would like to try this out and see how it works.
after all l intend to keep on making work after Uni finishes even when on the dole l should still feel creative (I hope).
Been looking at small clips of Tony Oursler video “Judy” this l feel is emotional turmoil in video.
Its interesting how he places the installation to show a natural flow of the work, this is something l am interested in doing, so my own has a natural flow with a narrative .
Have bought a second chair to see how it works with the other, wounder if people will sit down to watch my film or will they stand watching uncomfortably.
Although my videos are silent apart from my playing with bricks film, l feel this makes the work stronger through image, slowed down to represent struggle and my difficulties in life.

This is a small part of something l posted on face book, its why l am the person l am today someone who needs to express oneself in what ever form is available.
The image showing is of me as a small child, you can see how my stump was befor the operation to correct it.
If it comes across as self absorbed well am sorry but have reached a time in my life were l can not worry about others, as long as they do me the courtesy to absorb my work and respect others who face similar futures.
I despair how human beings can treat their fellow man like this, how we can teach are young people to fight in what they believe when all they get back is no support. We are suppose to lead by example but the MOD seem to be in human .Why would any young person wont to join any forces is beyond me, they see how they are treated on their return , even in this day and age they are treated like discarded rubbish . I am scared for my future as a disabled person

Had time to reflect on my time at ucs since l had to be away, some of my past work is still resonating though,my box,s,my chairs are still there.
they have taken on a more personal dimension.
