Attached I have included an image of what my plan will be for the show layout.

This will be changed nearer the time knowing what im like, so for now this is the rough plan.

The ‘scientist’

The idea of making the etchings and prints of the scientist I have now thought about how I am going to do this. I have always looked at the hand drawn designs and preferred these to whatever the outcome of the next steps with these were. So due to preference I will redraw the designs onto better paper, and frame these, I will also use a colour pencil to add the other colour detail, which is generally next to the ink lines. Hopefully I will be happy with them when I am done.

Bad news

Bad news about the clocks idea, I have decided to no longer do this. This is because I have run out of time with making them, as i will need to order special parts in to make the clock handle spin exacltly once per day. I would also need to get someone else to look at it and configure it as I dont have much clue with tecnical sides of these things. With only two weeks left I have decided to leave this, it is a good thing that I have decided to stop making them. This is because two days after deciding this, one of the clocks fell and the fingers that are part of a hand all fell off after hitting the ground at some force.

Here is an image I took a few days ago, it was before the curtains were in place, so the angels are now in darkness and a bit harder to see. As you can see there is compost around the edges and the angels are spread out along the back wall. These will be moved but here is a rough guide to how I will have them set out.

I have now made my space pitch black, there are no gaps at all and you will need lights when walking around. This is what I desired, however I did think that it would be a little lighter than pitch black. This is just something I will have to accomodate for, with health and safety being a bigger issue now that you cannot see where you are walking….

Back to my angel figures.

I have started to arrange these figurines into little scenarios. I wont have them set in their final places until probably the last day possible, as I have no idea where I want them to go. All I know is that I want them to tell some sort of story as you walk through the space. Attached is an example of a scenario that I have created.
