Dolk, another stencil artist I enjoy who is similar style to banksy, I have attached here a few photo’s of his works. I am drawn to the humour in his work, how the work is not serious in any way, even the more political pieces.
“Dolk, Who is self-Taught, is particularly attracted to stencils for their accessibility. “They reach a large audience that understands what you are trying to convey,” he says. “I have seen children and old people laugh at my stencil work. It is well worth every single cut.” His goal is to create provocative work that passerby will look at and remember”

I like this idea that the passerby will see the work and see it whether they had planned to or not. I prefer this setting for art, where it is shown to everyone and then the people who are interested in it will stop and stare at it for a bit. It takes away any formality when viewing art, even taking away the knowledge of who made it. the art is viewed as a single piece, and not seen a a piece relating to any other work or to a specific man.
