Splat. Photo’s took through out the day of the soap pump.

Bubble success. Today I did a test run of the bubble pump, to great effect. I’m pleased with the colour of of the liquid, in the liquid vessel, it has a real sense of glowing green toxic waste. It is a colour I wanted to capture from one of my favourite films, the ‘re-animator’, in the film there is formula to bring back the dead, which also so glows bright green and brings a great sense of mystery to what is in the concoction.

The ‘soap mask’ is up. Today I wanted to see what the mask would look like suspended in the air, attached to the machine, and I am more then pleased with the out come, as it has made the machine a much more powerful piece, as it would be able to hold its own in an empty room with ease and dominate it.

Early stage of the bubble mask. Started the construction of the ‘Bubble mask’ today I am pleased with the out come so far, and I am looking forward to it developing in to focus point of the ‘Machine’.

In the studio 2. Today I have started the process of creating the bubble mask straps out of latex, that will be attached to the bubble machines fluid tube exiting the liquid vessel, this is an exciting bit as this is the part where the bubbles will be purged from so i want to make the mask itself as grotesque as possible.
