University Campus Suffolk

Last nights post was a jab to the man, but I have taken it off as it has had the desired effect, to those lucky few who watched it I hope you enjoyed it.

Dante’s inferno. Success! My furnace has worked and reached a temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius, more than enough to melt aluminium, plus I was able to cook my lunch on it and tomorrow I think I will try a jacket potato. I still need to make the investment (mould) to create my aluminium bubble mask.

Furnace complete. Every thing is now set for tomorrow, all that needs to be done is to start a fire in the furnace to cure the fire cement, then hey presto one charcoal furnace.

Mini ‘masking arms’. Today was not what I expected to be doing in comparison to my larger works, as I’m running on empty on metal, in fact I dont have any and I couldn’t make any large works, but didn’t want to waste the day doing nothing, so I raided the metal bin to find scraps and this is the outcome of today.

Homemade charcoal furnace. I got started on the funace today and I am more than pleased with the out come, it looks really quite smart, even with the stuff it is made from.
