I have continued with old projects and slightly neglected my current project. I have decided form the beginning that i would focus on the fox as a subject as I felt it as an animal was quite symbolic of traditional britain , as it is heavily associated with fox hunting. After writing my dissertation it broadened my thinking to look at general animal use within art of all mediums.
All the artsist I looked at use similar materials, ie animal parts, but are all trying to say different things through their art. Many artists want to make the audience question their morals, some want to simply shock. very few create art with animal parts to make art that is aesthetically pleasing.
so it is time for me to sit down and think what exactly I want to say ??
