#21

There’s now less than two weeks until the assessment and the final rush in the studio has begun! We’re all moving to our new spaces and cleaning up (read: PAINTING!) the studio, ready for the big day of our private view on the 6th and for the show opening on the 7th.

Can you say ‘stressful’?

Anyway, I’ve gotten my initial studio plan all ready – though whether it changes I don’t know yet, after all this panicking over the display of my work.

It might change to just one piece and the chair (which was hijacked from one of the downstairs studios by myself and Matt) on the shorter wall and three on the long wall, depending on the lightbox situation. Regardless of the method, however, the pieces will be A1 in size.

Also, after looking into different binding techniques, I’ve decided that I am going to be ribbon binding the book I am making for the drawings and stories, but adding a hard cover to it to making it feel more authentic without have to worry about the ordering of the pages when printing them.

All of this to be done before the 3rd! It’s a race to the finish now.
