I decided to not use the video from the last post in the end as i felt that the MRI scan with text is much more powerful when played on a loop with just the words
“I don’t remember, I don’t recall, I dont remember anything at all”. The words are repeated over different MRI images and played on a loop.
This represents how memory is lost and in some cases the memories they create daily and wiped clan the next day. Therefore the repetition of the words is the brain erasing the memories and forgetting they have already said the words.
I have decided to call the piece “Don’t forget to remember” (2014).
