Completion of Beagle Sculpture

Another mile stone within my project. I have finally got my beagle sculpture finished. I finally attached the ears, the ears that are the most important part. I wanted them to be stretched out to show how these features are important and how they are the first part of the beagle that is abused when they enter a testing labratory.

I again felt very emotional towards my sculpture. Once the ears where attached it looked and to me felt alive. I felt a sense of care and devotion to its identity and presence. It brought a tear of joy and or fear to my eyes. I am definetly attached to this piece now after many weeks (and a few good months) of wanting to disgard it all together. I am pleased i kept it and let it develop over time. This was a piece that i definetly could not rush.

Close to completion.

I have working very hard the last few weeks to get all my crochet cubes sewn together in order to get to the next step of my degree project. So this post is to say that i have completed that lengthy task and i now have 39 cubes ready fot the degree show.

Lightbulb moment. Sculpture in space on plinth infront of cubes that are on the wall. Maybe project video on the ears, i dont know. Will have to play around with it.
