The Finale
Well that’s it now folks! The Encompass exhibition is to be taken down, packed up and returned to their rightfully owners….It feels like something special is being taken away from us : (
But on a brighter note we have met some superb people and hopefully long term friendships in this cut throat world of Art !
We have plans in the pipe lines for another exhibition “Encompass Two”….so keep watching this space..a few more reminder photographs of this fantastic journey are on our blog ….which we hope to continue !

With all the recent success of the Artists exhibiting in the Encompass Art Exhibition, I forgot to mention Congratulations to Ian Irvine and Denis Whiteside who also were selected for the Neo Art Prize!
Also the director of NeoArtists Jason Simpson is part of a group exhibition “ A New Conversation” in a grand opening of new art gallery in Bolton, The Gallery at St George’s House.
We also like to wish continued success to Pete Marsh who is currently exhibiting in Newcastle and Birmingham. As we wish all our recent Artists who presented work in the Encompass exhibition, making this event an outstanding triumph

Threadneedle Prize Exhibition

Amanda Rae is now exhibiting in the Threadneedle Prize Exhibition, London.

“Leaving the nest”
Is probably the most personal piece that Amanda has worked on. “Leaving the nest” represents her twin sons which are about to fly; one into the Navy and the one to college then hopefully the police force.Amanda said she “is so proud as punch but this Island will feel very quiet :( “

Sharon Forrest
Another Congratulations to one of the artists exhibiting in Falcon Mill. Our own MA committee member Sharon Forrest!
Sharon has been selected from over 400 UK entries.
The exhibiting artists have a chance of prize money of £1000.00.
We all are wishing Sharon the best and fingers crossed for the prize money!

School visit
Children from Haslam Park C.P.School took part in Art Workshops at Encompass Fine Art Exhibition. The Exhibition at Grade II listed Falcon Mill, Handel Street, Bolton features work by emerging and international artists and is curated by 4 MA Fine Art students from the University of Bolton. The exhibition is open on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June 12-5pm as part of Bolton Arts Festival.
