Drawings from observation using the iron board that I deconstructed, viewed from different angles and perspectives. I feel this way of working has a lot of potential as this opens a new line of enquiry and ideas for creating new work. Drawing is essential in my practice. It keeps things moving when I’m not sure what to make or where to go next. I like the way that the graph paper makes contrast again the lines.

I have been challenging myself to create something completely new using the iron boards, not just using the ironboard itself as I did last year, but using the ironboard to make new work. In my last work I have used the iron board legs as a standing base for the, let’s called it, a weird bird. Post to come in a bit.

I feel my writing is rubbish, not sure if I’m reading too much into what I do, If I’m being critical enogh, but I’m properly panicking now, as I have a month and a half left for degree show and I’m not sure what to make!!!!

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh (panic scream)
