For the last Wakefield Artwalk of 2011, Westgate Studios has a full programme of art & festive cheer for one night only: Westgate Winter Show in the 1st floor gallery featuring studio holder’s work curated by Alice Bradshaw & Bob Milner, a solo show by Sharon Harrison in the Project Space, open studios with a Winter Wonderland in studio A6, an art vending machine by Nicholas Clarke and of course mulled wine and mince pies. Pop in on your artwalk and sample some Westgate wonders.
About Westgate Studios:
Westgate Studios are housed in a Grade II listed building in Wakefield City Centre, close to the new Hepworth Gallery. Wakefield bus station and Wakefield Westgate train station are in walking distance, with direct trains to Leeds, York, Newcastle, Sheffield, Doncaster, Birmingham, Nottingham, London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

About Alice & Bob:
Alice Bradshaw & Bob Milner are artists currently undertaking a 12 month residency in shared studio space A6 at Westgate Studios in Wakefield. As artists who also curate, they are also producing a number of temporary exhibitions, events and zines which are the latest in a series of collaborative projects they have co-curated in West Yorkshire where both artists currently reside.
