I’ve begun my Degree Project by using the Technique of Paper Cutting which I began using in my previous year.
My Theme is the collaboration between Past and Present, taking the art form of paper cutting, which had been used and popularized in the past and modernize it into my own style in the present.
I’ve taken inspiration from artists such as Michael Brennand-Wood, whose techniques and visual aesthetic I enjoy. Brennand-Wood’s work is very pattern like and symmetrical which is an aspect I also include in my work.
