This gently provocative title frames the talks, screenings, panels, workshops, and Q&As that make up the first a-n Assembly in Northern Ireland. Our place, slightly hidden on the periphery of the UK and on an island with two nations (and two arts policies), often feels adrift from our neighbours’ prevailing cultural ecologies.
Friday 6 October, 11am - 1pm in-person
The final day of Assembly Belfast will involve collecting comments and feedback, taking stock and proposing programmes and a timeline for improvement. Participants will develop concrete actions for conditions that support our survival. Taking place at QSS, Belfast.
