Tim’s chief responsibly was to teach Timothy Spall to paint in preparation for his role as the great artist and was on hand on the film set to help him create the painting scenes for the movie. Tim also taught the other actors who played artists in the film.
Tim teaches this course with specific reference to Turner’s late watercolours. You will look at landscape and how Turner employed his mature technique to express place and atmosphere. Tim will help you investigate and experiment with the possibilities of watercolour and develop paintings from sketches and studies.
