The three artists have been sharing creative space in Riverside for over seven years. For the last three years they have been Artists-in-Residence at Shrewsbury Environment Centre in the now defunct Riverside shopping mall.
Sara Mai used her time in Riverside to develop an art system using plastic bottle tops which she calls plastic pixel art, likening the tops to pixels on a digital screen.
There are two threads to her work, the one a roadshow that provides a public engagement point for all things plastic using engaging creativity, the other art works that project colourful guidance.
Sara will be present both Fridays through to Monday and will be offering free drop in sessions for several Plastic Pixel Art activities: Magic Pixel Painting, Innocent Towers, Plastic Pixel Painting
