TAKE FIVE @ Art Central Sue Roberts, Shirley Anne Owen and Kay Keogh have recently set up artists’ group 3ORMORE to organise exhibition opportunities,either as a small group, or to act as a hub with the capacity to include one or more guest artists in specific exhibitions and projects. The group’s inaugural exhibition working to a theme of ‘Transience’, will be held at Art Central in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, with invited artists Laura Holliday and Bernard Heslin. ‘Transience’ ‘One thing that doesn’t change is the fact that everything around us changes.’ Transience is not lasting, enduring or permanent. It can be an ephemeral feeling or something relating to impermanence. The five exhibiting artists have explored the meaning that transience has for them. Shirley Anne Owen, Kay Keogh and Bernard Heslin are painters. Sue Roberts and Laura Holliday are sculptors. Each artist approaches this subject with a different objective to create an interesting and diverse exhibition. Supported by Arts Council of Wales, The National Lottery and The Welsh Government
