Animated bacterial paintings of Ophelia were filmed in time lapse over six days. In Shakespeare’s play Hamlet, Ophelia drowns and is suspected of suicide. This Ophelia finds her true self in a place between life and death receiving messages across time and space on an electronic answer phone. The artist JoWOnder uses poetry that is submitted to the dead Ophelia on her voice mail. Contributions will also be received during the period of the installation via a free telephone line for more information and to find out how to contribute go to http://vimeo.com/40356562
