A H Contemporary Glass is the creative business of local designer maker Adam Hussain.
He designs and creates handmade kiln-formed glass artworks from his industrial studio in Earlsdon, Coventry. Adam exhibits and sells his work through Contemporary Craft shows, galleries and online selling platforms. His bespoke artworks are made for home and business interiors and he also works on large scale glass installations for corporate site specific locations, his clients include Volvo Group UK and Coventry University.
In 2018 and 2019 he was the Craft Council’s ‘Talent Ambassador’ for the West Midlands and was recently awarded a fellowship by the ‘Society of Designer Craftsmen’ in London. His work has been featured in British Vogue magazine, Crafts magazine and other craft publications.
Adam will be showcasing work from his latest collection ‘From Above’ which is inspired by abstract satellite imagery of landscapes and cities, he will also be exhibiting glass art from past collections. Throughout this art event he will be working in his studio, so this is an ideal opportunity to visit to see how he designs and makes his creations.
There will also be four local artists exhibiting in the Blue Door Gallery, next to his studio.
