The exhibition celebrates 21 years of the West Riding Ruggers. Known both nationallyand internationally, the group preserves traditional rug making skills and also uses them in new ways. The exhibition includes rugs based on the theme of "celebration", and rugs inspired by our travels around the world. We also have on display a series of large postcards featuring rugs made by rug hooking groups around the world, and examples of Heather Ritchies rug making project in Gambia. We are also building an archive of memories about rug making, and are asking for contributions to this at the exhibition.
