Surrounded by the bold, bright garments in the L.F.Markey store, we will be immersing ourselves in a world of colour and creativity.

Seraphina will give a brief introduction to the origins of collage and to different techniques. Then, taking inspiration from the imagery and materials provided, Seraphina will guide you through some fun, short warm-up exercises before we move onto creating final collages based on our explorations. Together, we will explore colour, texture, composition, and the different feelings that these can bring to your work.

Collage is a wonderful way of connecting with your creative self without any set ‘rules’ to follow. This workshop will be an opportunity to escape the outside world and to enjoy the act of making. You’ll also have some inspired new artworks to take home!

All materials will be provided and no prior experience is needed- whether you are completely new to making things, or a practising artist looking to develop your ideas, you are more than welcome to join us!
