Addressable Memory considers the critical and aesthetic notions of ‘memory’ within contemporary life in our information-dependent society. The exhibition presents two distinct, yet interconnected strands, that reflect upon individuals’ and society’s capacities to remember though a creative analysis of the mobile phone and the global media network. Takeo Magruder has exhibited worldwide and his practice encompasses an eclectic mix of forms, ranging from futuristic stained-glass windows, digital light-screens and modular sculptures to architectural manipulations, ephemeral video projections and interactive net-installations. Takeo Magruder is a member of King’s Visualisation Lab, King’s College, London. FREE ADMISSION. Supported by Peterborough City Council. Further info at: http://www.takeo.org/
