Alzheimer’s and dementia affect almost a million people in the UK currently. By 2040, it’s projected that 1.4 million people will be living with Alzheimer’s disease. The emotional, financial and time cost for families and society is ever growing, and we simply need to find a cure for this horrendous illness.

In this talk, we hear from Dr Sarah Carpanini from Cardiff University about her research into the disease as well as from a representative of Alzheimer’s Research UK on the progress made so far and what the future looks like.

The talk, which accompanies an art exhibition at the Create Centre on Alzheimer’s disease, is in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK, with all proceeds from ticket sales going towards helping them find a cure for the disease.

Tickets can be purchased at £10 per ticket, all proceeds supporting ARUK:
