During the Salon exhibition in Chapeltown, the Project Space at ESA Patrick Studios will hold a solo exhibition of selected works by the 2008 Salon winner, ESA studio holder Andrew Lister.Working mainly with painting, Lister’s recent works respond to the representation of conflict in the popular mass media. By transferring images from daily newspapers to a diverse range of materials, Lister questions whether the format of representation of both popular and political imagery has an effect on our perception of their content.
