In Le Grand Charmer, Andro Semeiko’s painting-based practice extends into drawing, sculpture and installation. Acting as props for a Mise-en-scene, these elements spin pseudo-narratives which appear to make reference to Exeter’s historic past as a Roman fortress and busy Elizabethan port, while simultaneously dissembling the chronological passage of time and historical facts.
