Dalston, east London, has been undergoing massive regeneration. Alexandra Blum has spent three years drawing the upheaval: from the street, within the vast Dalston Square construction site as artist in residence, and now from within one of the completed flats, a home on the 17th floor. The selection of drawings at the Geffrye Museum explores the changing nature of space as the tower block evolves through time, the emergence of domesticity perched upon layers of raw construction and the shifting boundaries between a single, defined living space and the network of spatial units from which the city itself materialises.
