Continuing from the original aim to create an innovative new platform for emerging artistic talent in The Capital, La Maison De Fay is proud to present ‘Visual Expressions’, a showcase of photography and video works by international photographer Arno. The show is like paging through a notebook of the artistic and personal side of Arno’s work. From observing landscapes in multiple exposures and building a realistically yet flawed large-scale image filled with detail, to video experiments with copyright free online sourced footage, the show is selection of observations and actions.Arno, the South African born, international photographer is known for his advertising and portrait work, which has appeared in iD, Wallpaper*, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Chaos, The Guardian and The Mirror Groups. His portraiture is well represented in international private and corporate collections. His works are already in the National Portrait Gallery, the collections of well-known actors and musicians, as well as represented by Ampersand House and Gallery in Brussels and Corbis Outline.La Maison De Fay has held seven pop up underground contemporary art exhibitions since February 2011, at various locations around East London. We have collaborated with photographers, painters, illustrators, fashion designers and other visual and performance artists.
