Art Accelerating Art is a guided tour combining music and poetry performances, in combination with a curatorial talk. We want to inspire the audience to elaborate on how this contributes to the meaning of the work. The tour will start with an introduction which discourse is going to make an emphasis on the importance and relevance of the exhibitions curated by the Saatchi gallery towards the contemporary art scene. This part of the tour will be making a constant relationship between the name of the exhibition and the subjects explored along the different galleries. Producers: John Angel and Elin Henriksdotter Objective: 1. To collectively investigate the following parameters in a project that relies equally on the audience and the performers. a. How our experience/understanding of the sculptures depend on external information. b. The sculptures ability to engage in a dialogue with additional cultural practices. 2. To go encourage the audience a. To go beyond immediate personal opinion regarding exhibited works. b. To feel comfortable and relaxed in their individual experience of art.
