My work inhabits the space between street-art and traditional canvas: Through explosive colour and texture I bring the medium of spray paint inside.
I’m inviting you to view graffiti in a different way.
My style of work started on walls and trains, but with canvases, I am now reaching wider audiences. I’m spreading the joy of street art, and my love for traditional artists.
I’ve take inspiration from childhood sketch books and now create pieces from carved stencils, producing cartoon-style characters in abstract and distorted worlds.
Since moving up North, I have been slowing incorporating the area’s identity in my pieces. I want to see myself in the art spaces I’ve grown to enjoy and my aim is to combine the cultural importance of street art and fine art.

Art Lab is a monthly meet-up for artists and art practitioners to discuss their work, concurrent ideas and critical thinking. It’s open to anyone who would like to attend and contribute constructively. Art Lab is for sharing ideas, mutual learning, peer support and networking. The format is presentation(s) by artists / practitioners about their work / ideas / interests: 20-30 minute presentations followed by Q&A.
Art Lab welcomes all art practitioners at any stage in their career and operates a safe space policy. Art Lab is coordinated by Halifax based artist/curator/writer Alice Bradshaw.
