Gill Crawshaw is a curator based in Leeds. At November’s Art Lab she will talk about her latest project, Any work that wanted doing. This exhibition brings together disabled people’s voices from the past and present. Disabled artists have created eight new artworks in response to research into disabled mill workers. These are currently on display amongst the collection of textile machinery at Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills, once the largest woollen mill in the world. The exhibition is part of Leeds 2023 Year of Culture and is on until January 2024.
