This summer at The New Art Galley Walsall, Birmingham-based artist Barbara Walker moves in and starts her residency. Barbara will continue to develop her series of drawings which question society’s attitudes towards young, males. Barbara’s intricate drawings of faceless figures explore how clothing is used by specific groups of men as a status symbol within their communities.Open Studio Event: Saturday 18 June, 2-4pm.
