ASMbly 2017 – is a 12 day arts, science and maker festival taking place in the St John’s Centre in Leeds. This curious mixture of interactive science museum, laboratory and studio space offers a range of hands-on activities and workshops for all ages.
Running from 26th July to 6th August The Superposition will be opening up their process to the public by hosting the ASMbly Lab project. A communal art studio and laboratory, participants come together to collaborate on existing projects and to create exciting new ones. This process is open to the public daily, allowing a unique perspective on the creative process of interdisciplinary practice.

“Superposition Evening” of thought provoking talks from Artist, Scientist and Maker perspectives on Wednesday 2nd August.
We’ll be exploring the similarities and differences between humans, puppets and robots, and discovering that in many ways, we are closer than we would like to admit…
Our panel of speakers includes neurobiologist Professor Samit Chakrabarty from the University of Leeds, puppeteer Anzir Boodoo from The Puppet Parliament and a roboticist
Workshops: including Perfume making workshops, Rainbow Badge workshops, Minecraft coding, Frankentoys, Maker Games, PatternCraft: Decode secret messages and program Minecraft using PatternCraft.
