The exhibition of clay forms and wall pieces are handbuilt using pinch, coil and slab techniques and range in size from 10 cms to 150cms, large bowls are made in plaster moulds made from mooring buoys. The work is either Smoke fired using sand, seaweed and sawdust, Raku or Earthenware glaze fired. Some include PMC silver or coloured resin. Sally’s inspiration comes from every aspect of the beach. Return to working with clay after years of planning and research her working method changed back to basics, exploring possiblities with clay and fire.
