Floating amongst the trees this neon love poem expresses the ambivalence of desire, while at the same time questioning our ambivalent feelings towards nature and how this might connect with power relations in the landscape. Both romantic and threatening, Beauty Spot (diptych) examines a spatial order that feeds off and reproduces pleasure and fear. Beauty Spot (diptych) is supported by Arts Council England. The installation is open all day – free admission. Directions at: http://www.southhillpark.org.uk/aboutUsTravel.jsp
