The current work by Irene Rogan is inspired by the nearby ancient stone circles around her home of Millom, Cumbria and the work of poet Norman Nicholson, she explores a conceptual approach in experimenting with the traditional medium of stone carving producing a series of artworks. Danny Clahane sculptor first provided stone carving tuition and collaborated with her on three carved slate standing stones in villages along the Duddon estuary. The exhibition includes images by the photographer, Jem Freiesleben his research on the stone circles and connecting them with the new stone carvingshttps://www.facebook.com/duddon2019/
