Borderland Visual Arts (BVA)OPEN STUDIOSThe aim of the BVA Open Studios is to show thegeneral public good Contemporary Art in a friendly, approachable non-galleryenvironment and allow them to meet the artist, discuss the work & buy aunique piece of art at a reasonable price if they wish.2009 is our 9th year and promises to be the bestyet with a record 32 artists participating in 20 studios, half of which are inOswestry itself and half in the surrounding area, none more than 20 miles away.It is held over two weekends – June 6/7th and13/14th and open from 10.00am until 5.00pm although many of the studios canalso be viewed at other times as well.FULL detailsare on our leaflet which can be downloaded (see below) and the printed leafletswill be available from the beginning of June at Honeysuckles in Church Streetor the Oswestry Tourist Information Centres at Mile End or in The VisitorCentre next to St Oswalds Church We are delighted to have sponsorship fromOswestry School who will be displaying their sexcentenary embroidered textilehanging.For moredetails please go to our website http://www.borderlandvisualarts.comor telephone Diana Baur on 01691600340
