Gallery@49 is pleased to announce their new exhibition, an installation by Philipp Steiger at the contemporary art space in Bracknell town centre. Philipp is currently in his second year at Brunel University, West London studying for a Bachelors degree in Product Design Engineering. Phillip is the first guest artist to be invited to use the space and has put together an installation specifically for the gallery window using sculptural pieces from his A Level course combined with new elements of light and fabric. The installation plays off of several contrasts using form, texture and colour. Philipp describes the installation as a means of “referencing the lighter, brighter side of looking at life” which is very refreshing coming from a current University student given the economic challenges facing young people today.
