Sculptures by Bryan Kneale RA FRBS are brought together for the first time in 30 years in the RBS galleries. This exhibition of work from the Arts Council Collection includes related works from the artist’s studio. Kneale is an influential sculptor who has inspired generations. Working with metal provides Kneale with an intimate and immediate dialogue. ‘These pieces use stress and tension, thrust and counterthrust, controlled energy and contained reaction to negotiate… provisional stability between opposing forces.’ Hilary Spurling
